Learning To Manage With Labor As The Constraint To Business Growth: Leading An Engaged Workforce
Employee engagement is an important part of any company’s success, and businesses in manufacturing are no exception. Engaged employees are more willing to recommend their employer to others, they’re more passionate about striving for company goals, they are more productive and they are more satisfied with their home and personal lives. Sam Gould, business growth consultant for Enterprise Minnesota, will share effective methods to help you get your workforce more engaged through a process of:
- Purposeful leadership
- Daily improvement
- Running the “Plan Do Check Adjust” cycle
Gould specializes in helping businesses improve productivity and increase employee development. His expertise lies in the areas of product development, advanced manufacturing processes, value engineering and project management. He has served as an adjunct professor at Bemidji State University, where he also played an active role in establishing the university’s engineering program.
