The Minnesota Chamber Of Commerce’s Perspective On Manufacturing

Bill Blazar from the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce will be speaking to our association membership about the economic outlook for manufacturing, looking at how recent trends in innovation, new investment, workforce and exporting are impacting the manufacturing sector.

Bill Blazar is senior vice president of public affairs and business development at the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. In that capacity, he is responsible for the Chamber’s policy and political programs. He also directs Grow Minnesota!, the Chamber’s statewide business retention and assistance program.

Blazar represents the Minnesota business community on several boards, including Generation Next Leadership Council, the Metropolitan Economic Development Association and the U.S. Chamber Labor Relations Policy Committee. He is president of the Loppet Foundation Board of Directors.

Test Ride An Altoz Mower And Feel The Heat Of A Classic Edge

The Central Boiler / Altoz Safety Committee will be offering test rides of several Altoz Zero-Turn Mowers along with a first-hand look at how a Classic Edge Outdoor Wood Furnace is safely operated.

Guided plant tours will be given by Safety Committee members focusing on safety-related updates made to enhance the workplace environment. Central Boiler / Altoz earned the Minnesota Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program–MNSHARP status in 2013. They strive to send employees home safely by working together to make Central Boiler / Altoz a safe place to work!
