Specifically, he will discuss the various business support programs that utilize exemptions, subsidies and tax credits to incentivize investment. His presentation will also cover programs developed to help employers retain workforce, as well as how to alleviate the extra costs associated with a tight labor market. Ryan Barstad, co-owner of Arc Metal Forming, will then share how his company has implemented some of the programs offered by Grand Forks Region Economic Development and the benefits that have come from doing so.
