The Highway 2 West Manufacturers’ Association is proud to support the Cass Lake-Bena High School in securing Bemidji as a regional robotics competition event host site.
The Highway 2 West Manufacturers’ Association has a proud history of supporting robotics programs in northwestern Minnesota:
- We sponsored a general membership meeting on May 4, 2016, at the Sanford Center in Bemidji.
The program was “Cutting Edge Technical Education/Industry Partnership Models” that showcased key regional leaders and school administrators working to share solutions on workforce skills gap. Speakers included Matthew Wendland and Jesse Frost to include a robotics presentation. There were 104 who attended this meeting.
- The most recent robotics program was during our meeting on May 4, 2017, at Central Boiler in Greenbush.
The Greenbush Middle River High School Robotics Team gave a video presentation and demonstration of two working robots. Approximately 80 business personnel attended this meeting.
