Digi-Key’s Process Improvement Journey: Employee Engagement + New Operational Excellence Tools = GREAT RESULTS!

Digi-Key has launched an operational excellence program in the past year that is designed to modify Digi-Key’s major production processes in order to improve quality and customer satisfaction. Digi-Key has found that the key to improving internal processes is by strongly involving and engaging employees. Teri Ivaniszyn, VP Operational Excellence; Keith Steva, Chief Technology and Information Officer; and Rick Trontvet, VP HR, will provide a joint presentation on Digi-Key’s recent journey in implementing a variety of Lean Six Sigma and Agile tools that are aimed at improving processes and engaging employees at the same time. Also reviewed will be Digi-Key’s “Listen for New Ideas Program,” which encourages the generation of employee ideas while measuring employee engagement through interviews and surveys conducted one-on-one with employees. If your company is interested in going beyond a basic Quality Program in favor of a program that also engages and energizes employees on a continual improvement journey, this luncheon may be a great choice for you. An optional tour of Digi-Key’s facility will be provided to interested attendees following the lunch and program. Please join us on February 17th!
