Altoz recently donated two Lincoln Power MIG 210 welders with TIG attachments and 1,000 pounds of steel to the welding class at Red Lake Falls Schools.
Jason Lee, Altoz’s Welding Manager, presented the donation to the class this week. Jason said, “We are fortunate to be able to supply resources to help these students with their education. Last week we had the students tour our facility. It was fun to see that ‘spark ignite’ when showing them how the skills they learn in the classroom can be used in the real world, whether it be manufacturing or other career choices.”
“The students had a great experience touring their facility last week and are very excited to start welding. The donation of these two welders will allow our students to weld in stick, MIG and TIG and the steel will allow them to work on many different types of welds,” said Trevor Page, Industrial Technology teacher at Red Lake Falls Schools.
